I was wrong about taglines

Hey Reader,

For the longest time, I believed taglines were a waste of time.

To me, they were just cheesy slogans or meaningless corporate jargon like "Trusted solutions for your success."

But over the last year, I’ve completely changed my mind. A great tagline is one of the most powerful tools in your messaging toolbox.

The problem is, most of them aren't very good.

A truly great tagline makes talking about your business feel natural, not robotic.

Because it’s only five or six words, you can easily slot it into a conversation in your own voice, without feeling like you're reading from a sales script.

After spending a lot of time working on our own tagline at Mammoth, we settled on one.

A clear message always wins.

It’s perfect for us. It states our core belief, it hints at what we do for our clients (help them get a clear message), and it promises the result (they will win).

There are no questions left in the customer's mind. It's a simple, powerful tool we can use everywhere.

What about you? Do you have a tagline that works this hard for your business?

All the best,
